The Arts Council for Long Beach invites you to participate as our guest in our annual State of the Arts and “Distinguished Arts" Awards. The event will bring hundreds of community leaders and arts supporters together as we honor distinguished awardees in the categories of Artist, Arts Leadership, and Arts Patron/Volunteer for Long Beach. We are pleased to present the James H. Ackerman Arts Philanthropy Award to the Port of Long Beach, Distinguished Artist of the Year Award to Maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke, Music Director of the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra, Distinguished Arts Leadership Award to Andreas Mitisek, Artistic and General Director of the Long Beach Opera, and Distinguished Arts Patron and Volunteer Award to Antonio Ruiz.
Due to limited seating we ask attendees to arrive on-time, as no late entries will be seated.
Parking Information
Free shuttle pick-up is available at City at the Cross Church, 2209 East 6th St. Long Beach, CA 90814. The shuttle will run from 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Please click here to view map. Valet parking will also be available and guests are free to utilize street parking as well.
